Secure exclusive spots for the puzzle tour combined with a tunnel tour with Berlin's Underworlds.
Exclusive slots (only 2 appointment slots/day) for school classes for the Spy & Escape puzzle tour followed by a tunnel tour of the escape tunnel 57 with Berlin's Underworlds. Learn more about the division of Germany and the Berlin Wall in an interactive way, and take on the role of escapees yourself on our puzzle tour. Thanks to the fun and relevant puzzles, you will experience the differences between the political systems of the GDR and the Federal Republic of Germany. Learn more about the Stasi, restricted freedom of travel and the reasons one would want to escape to the west. After successfully solving the clues and puzzles, the tour ends at escape tunnel 57, which takes you to West Berlin above ground.
You will then receive a 45-minute underground tour of Berlin's underworlds. You will learn more about underground escape attempts in Berlin, and experience replicas of Tunnel 57 that you crossed earlier, playing the scavenger hunt. Stories of spectacular successes, betrayals and bitter failure await you. A guide will greet you at the end of the Spy & Escape puzzle tour and walk with you to the entrance to the vaulted underworlds (3-minute walk).

SchoolRallye's digital scavenger hunt “Spy & Escape at the Berlin Wall” is based on real events and playfully shows students what socialist life felt like in the GDR. Is my own neighbour a spy, or can I trust him? How did differences in currencies or waiting times for goods come about? Guided by the instructions via a smartphone, students navigate through the political conflicts of the GDR regime. They use the same encryption techniques as the Stasi to find the stations and clues. Whether the planned escape remains undetected depends on the team's skill!
Berlin's underworlds offer a fascinating opportunity to explore the hidden sides of the city. Instead of being surrounded by scary productions in the Berlin Dungeon, students can descend into real bunkers and historic tunnels and learn more about life beneath Berlin's surface. The tours are led by expert guides and offer insights into the history and significance of Berlin's underworld.
